True to her campaign promise that Healthcare would be her centerpiece program, Governor Ann hit the ground running by personally inspecting the province-run hospitals and holding meetings with the Sanggunian Panlalawigan officials, hospital directors, doctors, officials from a relevant national government agency such as DOH and DPWH, and stakeholders. These visits where she saw for herself the desperate state of our facilities, have prompted her to order the expediting of the relocation of the Provincial Hospital to the Zamboanga Sibugay Medical Center in Tenan, Ipil.
Another promise, which is the free use of province-owned ambulances in these hospitals, is now being enjoyed by Sibugaynons availing of this service.
